Raise York Family Hubs
A Family Hub is somewhere
parents and carers can find trusted
information, advice and guidance.
When the Council decided that they
wanted to trial Family Hubs in the
city, Explore was a natural partner,
and our welcoming spaces and
specialist knowledge played a large
part in making the scheme a success.
The Hubs were located at Acomb,
Clifton, Tang Hall and York Explore
Centres. Following a successful trial,
the council has now received further
government funding for 7 Family Hubs
with 4 of
them to be
located in
our libraries.
