Island Movements
The story of the Windrush
generation was told in a newly
created short ballet Island
Movements which followed the
story of young Caribbean woman
and her family from World War
2 Britain to the present day. 120
attended the performance at Tang
Hall library many of whom were
new to ballet.
Black British Ballet is a project
by Oxygen Arts celebrating Black
pioneers in British ballet.
A partnership with
Libraries Connected,
toured exhibitions
and performances to
libraries across
the UK.
